These terms govern your use of the AgentProxy website. The AgentProxy software itself is open source and your use of it is governed by its licence, described below.
AgentProxy is a free, open-source command-line proxy for AI coding agents. It intercepts the traffic of agents such as Claude, Codex, Copilot, opencode and Devin, masks secrets before they reach the upstream provider, restores them in responses, and tracks usage and spend against budgets you set. It runs entirely on your machine.
AgentProxy is dual licensed. Open-source, personal and internal use is free under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 (AGPL-3.0), whose text ships with the source and the releases. Commercial use — selling it, bundling it in a product, or offering it as a hosted service — requires a separate commercial license from Deemwar. Your rights under each are set out in those licences; nothing on this page narrows the rights the AGPL grants you.
Under the AGPL, AgentProxy is free to download and use for personal and internal use — no account, no licence key, no trial clock, and no payment. Commercial use needs a commercial license; enterprise support (deployment help, an SLA, custom masking patterns) is a separate paid arrangement. Contact us to agree terms in writing.
You need your own accounts and API keys with the AI providers you route to, and you pay those providers directly for their usage. AgentProxy does not resell model capacity and is not responsible for provider charges you incur. Budget and spend-governance features are advisory tools to help you observe and cap usage; they are not a guarantee against provider charges, and you remain responsible for your own provider bills.
You agree not to use AgentProxy unlawfully, or to violate the terms of any AI provider you route through it.
AgentProxy is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law and as stated in the applicable licence (AGPL-3.0 or your commercial license). To the same extent, Deemwar Monads and Abstractions is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the software or this website. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The website and any hosted download or install endpoints are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis without an uptime guarantee. See our Privacy Policy for what little this site collects.
